The Martlets played an enormous part in my sister's cancer story, she stayed for respite in 2019 and the care she received was phenomenal. She returned in Oct 2021 and celebrated her 60th birthday there, staff decorated her room and made a cake. In December, just before Christmas she deteriorated and was readmitted for end of life care. She sadly passed away at the beginning of January. She was thankful to be in a place where she felt comfortable being cared for by people she knew.
